Framing-Light-Gauge Metal Scope: 1. Provide all labor, material, hand tools, equipment (including safety equipment), supervision, supplies, and other incidentals necessary to install the metal framing work and perform all such work in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, addenda, and other documents that make up the contract documents but not limited to the following: a. Metal framing for the interior and exterior portions of the building including walls, roof, soffits, dropped ceiling, floor system, balcony, stairs, furring, and platforms for boilers, hot water heater, and air handlers b. Metal framed studding, rafters, joists, decking, and trusses c. Wood blocking for firestops, smokestops, and fire-rated walls and floors required by the local codes d. Wood blocking necessary to secure all hanging and recessed devices such as cabinets, fixtures, handrails, stairs, and tubs as required by the drywall trade 2. Install all door and window openings for acceptable tolerance in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations 3. Ask project superintendent for any information needed to complete work. 4. Clean up all materials resulting from the work and remove from the site. Optional Scope Items: 5. Provide all necessary fastening devices such as nails, shots, and pins. Exclusions: 1. Sheathing 2.
