Share Basic Literacy

781 million people are illiterate today (Wikipedia). Of over 7000 languages spoken today over 3000 are unwritten (Ethnologue). Must we ignore these precious humans?

Share literacy for good reasons!

A recent innovation may have enabled delivery of basic literacy to illiterate speakers of even unwritten languages for pennies.

Please participate:

• Register so we can communicate.

• Test us: take our validation experiment.

• Help us network and reach out to others who can help. Do you know anyone in countries high on the Wikipedia list above? Send us both an email.

• If you don't do charity, recognize it's not about the money. Donate $0.03 which was my cost for a two-sided copy in Delhi. Giving feels good.

• Offer services and participation.

• But most of all, become a teacher. If you can read, write, and talk, and want to help your fellow humans, you are qualified. All you need do is
  • Learn how to justify and motivate it,
  • Learn how to present it,
  • Print the thing
  • Pass it out,
  • explaining it,
  • to those who could use it.
